How I got into my hobby of video games

One of my favorite hobbies is video games. Whether it's watching or playing, I enjoy it either way. While I grew up, I watched relatives play video games like Mario and I grew older I got my own console and games. It was like a gameboy and a gamecube. Eventually I would get a xbox and play with friends but I also enjoyed watching videos on youtube.

Now that I've moved away from home and been focusing on college, I don't play as much as I used to but I can still watch and occasionally play on my laptop. Over time I've changed my taste but over I still enjoy any type of video game but my favorite genre now would probably be horror and my favorite game would be Minecraft.
